Osteo-arthritis of any joint is really a misnomer.
Where symptoms like pain and immobility are not due to primary defects of the bony components of the joint. The degenerative and destructive
process on the bones is the end result of the disease process. This leads to further aggravates the ailment.
Concept of Tri – dosha explains the basic pathalogy.
Earth in the form of body as a matter . This matter is spread in Space through vehicle comprised of water ,fire and air.
This is described as kapha – Pitta – Vata.
Any deviation in the equilibrium between these, results into a particular disease ” Vyadhi”
Osteo athritis is ” Vata – dosha”.
Note down that the terminology ” Vata” does not mean wind in gaseous form . It signifies” inability to spread,to move. Spreading is executed through actions of muscles.
It signifies ” the inability to spread Spreading is executed through actions rather than the flow of Muscular architecture.
In terms of modern language , the defect is in the density of muscle mass resulting in shrinkage of cells.
Hence there is ineffective contraction and extension/ expansion.
This is not only related to Musculature but all over soft tissues made up of organ systems and surrounding soft tissues in our body.
If one understands this and how to work within then one will understand the root cause of diseases in our own body itself and how to improve and prevent it.
The science of yoga explains better that the disease is the defect in the element SPACE.
The human body comprises two types of SPACES – OPEN and CLOSE.
OPEN SPACE exists in Digestive, Respiratory and Genito Urinary passages. These SPACES are directly connected to outer SPACE. Here air pressure inside and outside of the body is equal and opposite. It also helps to resist the collapse of the body. But remember one very important thing that these SPACES are directly related to CLOSE SPACES.
CLOSE SPACES exist in all the joints in our body, skull, heart and its circulatory system , a very important role of our central axis (skull,spine and ribcage).
These SPACES are maintained due to the Musculoskeletal system, where Musculature is controlled by a voluntary nervous system but this voluntariness is under our own command and control here consciousness is the key. Our musculature is under our conscious command, and we can control it through our voluntary nervous system. By becoming aware of our muscle activity and movement patterns consciously, we can influence our nervous system to relax with expansion of our muscles in their natural specific sequence to smooth movement and bring ease.
The nervous system only knows contraction, which can lead to stiffness and distortion.
By taking conscious control of our muscle activity, we can:
1. Relax unnecessary tension : Release excessive muscle contraction to reduce stiffness and distortion.
2. Establish proper sequencing : Engage muscles in a natural, sequential order to maintain optimal movement patterns and reduce muscle imbalances.
3. Improve nervous system regulation : By consciously controlling our muscle activity, we can influence our nervous system to regulate muscle tone and movement patterns more efficiently.
I know it won’t be as easy to work but not difficult though we lost and forgotten their memories and this is the reason they become stiffer and this is the first basic obstacle to overcome.
It has two limbs ,one is a reflex activity of Spinal cord and other inhibitive activity of cerebrum i.e motor and sensory cortex. This is our big brain that is conscious movements. These centres are governed by our intelligence and volition of our mind. Thus bring back ancient memory with conscious movement and store in our Conscious brain further to get store in our ancient brain.
Understanding of SPACE is a natural skill which can be understood as “proprioception ” .We have lost intellectual control over this function . All our musculoskeletal activity of modern human beings has gone into AUTOMATION . This process is further aggravated due to Physical use of our body and its effect on the physiological ageing process.
To realise SPACE within the body is understanding through body language. We have to learn the alphabets of this language,it’s universal in nature.
This is like a book in primary school, teaching a novice to learn the language.Series of pictures, show progressive entry into the posture and my words description helps to understand the sequence.
These postures are far from classical Hata – yoga postures.
A beginner student is unaware of human physical and physiological state and their relationship with distortion in spaces within muscular architecture
In our method students, are safely navigated through the ” disease – storm” who can decode the sequence under my guidance .
Once a student understands the technique, he/ she can practice as “Do it yourself” method.
These postures can be practiced by anyone who wants to protect health and in turn from future likely catastrophe as well .
Diseases are the Defense mechanism of our own body , body’ s reaction to any physical and chemical action it goes into contraction to protect.
One must try to understand that –
Anatomical distortion at the level of an atom leads to slowing down or distorted physiological function of our organ systems.
Which further leads us towards permanent pathalogical changes in the tissues.
If one reaches at this level one has to take support of modern or aurvadic medicine. Which will treat symptoms.
For Reversible of disease process and reach root cause one has to work Physically and make efforts within our body .
With regular and systematiac efforts in right direction and techniques, we can definitely cross the levels to go deeper to remove cause.

Remove signs and symptoms and further to improve Physical skills in day to day activities or games or productivity in any profession which is higher skills. Or
