Yoga is to understand naturalization and evolve further.

The importance of ” yoga asanas” is most misunderstood and misinterpreted. We must prevent ourselves from illness, viral infections, and disease and evolve healthy.
We must know what naturalization is state of Sahajawastha of beingness, natural is state of  ease which governs laws of nature/ universe and yoga Shastra knows this screat.
Naturalization, which we have to improve through the evolving nervous system with a feedback mechanism as a human, intelligent species. Other speices are not needed as they are Bhog yonis’ and we are “ Anubhut yoni ” given the memory and intellect. Therefore, we need to work on our bodies through mind and intellect as vyadhi / disease is the first obstacle to evolving. Isn’t it sad that we are technologically advanced but still as a human species deteriorating ?

The state of naturalization is brought about in the human body through different pathways.  Vertebral brain with column is that combines signals from the internal and external worlds to support adaptve responses and behaviour. Which are needed to successfully adapt to a changing world.

The human body is divided into two systems.
The voluntary system :  comprising of musculoskeletal system which is fully under the control of the nervous system through volition, under our own conscious will and command.Therefore we can bring this under our control.( We have to come out of reflex action of spinal segment and work consciously through musculature to bring control on nervous system)
The  involuntary system:  a vegetative system composed of organs of respiratory, circulatory, digestive, Genital and Excretory, and special sense organs like eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin. This system is controlled by nature through the medium of sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. There is no volitional control, and it works entirely on the principle of demand and supply, where emotions play a greater role in agitating and depressing the functions of different organs in this system.
But once you reach a deeper level in Asana, then we  will get control of these systems. But firstly, we have to remove physical pressure on these organs by creating space. Because outside pressure and forces are very strong compared to inner forces. The role of voluntary muscular architecture is most vital for bodily movements as well as creating pressure differences within these body cavities.
In normal life, both voluntary and involuntary systems work hand in hand through the nervous system. Through voluntary musculature, we can create an inner environment( homeostasis) healthy, so minimum load and maximum benefits for working organs


These two systems can be grouped into three parts.
1. Peripheral nervous system supplying energy to muscles and joints.
2. Autonomous nervous system supplying energy to vegetative organs.
3. Central nervous system which controls all organs through discriminative intelligence “Vivekaja gnyanam”.This is made to activate only through the medium of the central nervous system.
The smooth and harmonious work of the voluntary and involuntary system is disturbed by unskilled and restricted movement of voluntary muscle, which cause of ill health and  diseases, either physical or physiological and mental This slows down their working and death is to permanently stops it.


Lord Patanjali has precisely described the aim of yoga as “Heyam duhkham anagatam” which means that the practice of yoga guards us against pain, which has not even risen on the horizon of time. Regular practice of Asana protects the body from unforeseen pain. This is done through two pathways of voluntary and involuntary systems of the body.
Mode of action on the voluntary system comprising of musculoskeletal system is direct one through the Central nervous system. Effect of Asana ( form of body is not important what inner efforts one does ? ) on the involuntary system is indirect.
All movements of voluntary muscles, joints, and bones are under the command of the central nervous system, consisting of Cerebrum, i.e… large brain and spinal cord. Reflex actions are governed by the spinal cord .* I want to strongly maintain here that all types of exercise and in the name of yoga people make mistakes when using this spinal reflex, which is automation. Therefore, it never gets results for prevention also ,it’s very sad . i.e. Execution of movement. Intentional and intellectual movements of the voluntary system are controlled by Cerebrum ( in the name of yoga posture what I observe this l lacking).
*Initially in infancy, all movements of voluntary muscles are purely involuntary actions.( Same mistake is done in any physical activity) Slowly they are brought under the volitional control of cerebrum by learning process, right from rolling over, on the belly to standing and walking. All these movements exist in a genetically programmed form and are stored in the memory centre. Children should not skip this natural order of coding because in future this Distortion is the root cause of their illness and diseases . A child learns these actions quickly over a period of 1 to 2 year’s time.
*Once the art of standing and walking is learnt.These are brought under the volitional control of the Cerebrum these actions are programmed and stored in the memory centre. This centre makes the information available at any time. Through repeated and continuously prolonged practice of sequences of different motions ( here doing different postures has got no meaning), all activities are transferred into reflex mechanical actions governed by the spinal cord . They are executed any time without the consultation of Cerebrum. This becomes automation, which is naturalization.As not learnt intellectually hence deterioration starts at this level which further changes DNA at cell division.
* One must note down What all we are ignoring ? This is automation or naturalization. Once this is achieved, the physical properties of each cell assume a new dimension to suit the new character of that species, and then this information is stored in genes and gets transferred to the next generation.
This is the secret of the human being who can stand on his two feet without much difficulty. Once any action like standing posture becomes automatic, it assumes limitations of minimum and maximum skills, which is governed by genes. e.g. in horse racing; one finds that a particular breed of a race horse wins a maximum number of races. This is true in human beings also. Defects in a posture in any member of the parent – father or mother – are also visible to some extent in their children.Hence better correct as early as possible.
*The limitations in any automatic involuntary and natural action can be modified by coaching. Since the musculoskeletal system is under volitional command. It is easier to modify its limits by adopting different learning processes, like practicing intellectually , fractional variations of muscle cell ( not as a reflex action which mistakes yoga teaching method does.This is the reason/ cause our body is wrongly adapting and Physical fit people don’t understand their cause of suffering).
“ It is possible to modify and overcome the limitations actions of musculoskeletal system in a human being through regular practice based on basic principle of biofeedback technique “
